Yeah, it's been quite a while. I'm done teaching now, it was fun, I enjoyed it, but that induction by fire shit really sucks. I would like to do it with a proper start this time.
I've added a new computer to the mix, actually 2.
please welcome Saiph, my new tiny everyday computer, and Mauna-Kea, the DVR box. I picked it up to try and copy the science tapes to cd, but kept having issues till recently. I broke from the long tradition of naming computers after objects that make the orion constellation. It's named after the observatory on hawaii.
I upgraded the raid array to 73 gig drives in january only to get an even sweeter deal on 181 gig drives this week. So I made that upgrade too.

I've gotten some really good sound cards, which makes me realize how shitty all my speakers are. But before I can upgrade them, I need to upgrade my truck and my job.
Still lookin, but still not having much luck. Not much else going on with me. Keep looking for them job listings, I'm still offering up to $1000 for the tip that gets me a good engineering job.
