Lots of things have happened in the past few months, so I figured I'd do an update.
Worked on the robotics team with North Penn, That was a blast. Our team made it into the finals at both regionals, but bad officiating cost us progressions. Judges at Philly were impressed with the robustness of our robot, and gave us an award for it.
Worked staff on the Encampment at Valley Forge. Some nitwit threw hot coals into the dumpster, so about 2 hours were lost while fire crews put it out. There were a lot of kids with cold problems. It got down near 0 the second night. You spend 48 hours out in that kind of weather and it really messes with your perception. I walked outside and figured it was 40-50 degrees when in was barely 30.
Finally got a job. Nothing big, but it's work, it'll give me something to do all day and pay my bills. I'll be on a crew working for Bartlett Tree Experts.
I guess I'll leave it there for now. That's all the major stuff I can think of.
