the weekend/first visual post

This past weekend I went back up to syracuse for the weekend. I stayed with my good buddy Reid

Started out with his friends down in armory. nice guy, his chick and a pair of single babes. As it turned out, one was a stripper or something. which was cool, it made me feel less poorly for staring at her chest every now and then. it was just a low neckline, not a large endowment, but she had a great body. The other was cute and had a nice set of curves on her. It was fun, except my truck broke on the way up. squeaks and vibrations.

Saturday we got up, went down to cosmo's for breakfast. decent. but not great. worked on the motorcycle a little. then went mountain biking. shouldn't have taken off the toe clips. I've lost a lot of strength. I kept sliding off the pedals with my treadless shoes. I bruised my ass pretty bad. Also hit a tree, well checked it. The mud really sucked.

Came back and went out for korean/japanese with some decent soju. then went back and had some plum wine. I apparently passed out watching the storm, cause reid slipped out for some pictures and i didn't notice.

Sunday was tha trip down to nicole's wedding in ithica. She was absolutely beautiful. I had a decent time. she's got a nice group of friends up there.

Me and Nicole I do miss her a bit.

Took the truck in on teusday to see about the noise and the vibrations. 2 bad universal joints, a broken transmission mount, and 2 broken motor mounts.
the tranny mount I knew about, the motor mounts were a surprise, and it went in for the u-joints.

I'll probably post what i forgot tomorrow or so

Okay. Thi weekend absolutely rocked. It was another OA weekend at delmont, my first for a while. slept in the back of my truck, it was nice, chatted with my brother for a while. he was home for the weekend.
Saturday: There were 2 roofing projects this weekend. one was a 5x13 porch roof, the other was the back of a cabin. 12x20 or so. Me and another guy did the small roof by 11. it was a new roof that just needed to be shingled. then we went back and helped out with the big roof. We tore through the second roof, finished that by 3. the meals blow goats this weekend. the ordear ceremony won't be forgotten for a while. we had been spared the thunderstorm front all day. it started rolling in during the ordeal ceremony. we almost made it through the whole thing. I think if they knew the parts better we would have made it.

The thurderstorms were rather impressive. the first one dumped a lot of rain on us, the one that came 2 hours later, took out a tree and the power for the lower half of camp. the tree branch landed on the power lines, and was only about 100 feet away from where I was sitting. now THAT was cool.
unfortunately that means there was no cooked breakfast the next morning. I was woken up for the vigil ceremony after what felt like 3 minutes of sleep.

Otherwise it was a cool weekend.
